For travel managers and travel buyers

Every booking a programme booking. Wherever it was made

Your booking tool delivers policy, duty of care and invoices for the bookings made through it. The rest is open booking: the hotel booked direct, the rail ticket in an app. With 1-CP those bookings carry the traveller, the travel policy and the company’s payment method too.

Direct bookings should not disappear

Travellers don’t ignore the mandate. The direct channel is often cheaper, faster or the only place with a room. Today each of those bookings is a statement line, a receipt to chase and a traveller the programme cannot see.

  • Keep your booking tool and TMC.
  • Apply company policy to direct bookings.
  • Return booking details to reporting and duty of care.

Your booking tool stays.
Open booking joins the programme

  1. Before the trip

Set up travel policy, cost centres and payment methods such as virtual cards, lodge cards or central accounts once in the wallet. Traveller profiles come from HR or your identity system.

  2. During booking

On a hotel site, a rail app or an airline, Wallet Agent recognises the company, checks the rate against the travel policy before payment and pays with the company’s payment method, or records the traveller’s own card for expense.

  3. After booking

Traveller, supplier, dates and destination reach travel reporting and duty of care. Line items and received invoices reach finance.

Rates people can reach

Negotiated rates

A negotiated rate is useless if the traveller cannot reach it. 1-CP stores rate access codes and contract IDs against the company and shows them in the supplier’s booking flow. Afterwards you can check that the rate was applied.

Duty of care

Traveller, dates and destination go to your duty-of-care provider, such as International SOS, A3M or NP4, so the people responsible see direct bookings too.

Start with hotels booked outside the tool

Count expense reports, missing invoices and follow-up questions for one month. Then compare with the month after and add the next booking type.

Does this replace our booking tool or TMC?

No. They keep their role. 1-CP covers the bookings made outside them and brings every booking, inside or outside, into the same record.

Can we keep our virtual cards and lodge card?

Yes. 1-CP creates and fills in the virtual card inside the booking and attaches the booking to it, so the card statement is no longer the only record.

Can travellers book where they want?

Yes, within the policy you set. A hotel over the limit is flagged before payment, not in the expense report. Depending on the rule, a reason is enough or the booking is blocked.

What about people who book for others?

Today the arranger enters the traveller manually. A dedicated travel-arranger mode is on the roadmap.
